MS-4CMPXv2 + MS-Connect2 system

The master microprocessor controller works with virtually any rotary screw or piston compressor. It is designed to manage a network of up to four compressors equipped with controllers with REM remote control function. The system includes the MS-Connect2 visualization and diagnostics system, which allows for remote management of compressors operated by the MS-4CMPXv2 master controller. Core features of the system:

  • management of up to four compressors
  • sequential network operation algorithm
  • cascade network operation algorithm
  • network operation calendar/scheduling
  • equipped with the MS-Connect2 visualization and diagnostics system
  • enables remote operation of slave controllers

The system consists of the master MS-4CMPXv2 controller and the MS-Connect2 visualization and diagnostics system, which allows for remote management of up to four compressors. This is one of the most popular solutions that reduces power consumption and extends compressor life.

NETWORK OPERATION

Regardless of the power and types of compressors, master control allows you to synchronize the operation of the compressor assembly and avoid interruptions in the supply of compressed air in the event of a failure or stoppage of one of the compressors. The possibility of selecting a control algorithm in a “sequence” or “cascade” guarantees continuity of operation while ensuring a reduction in the load on each compressor and saving electricity thanks to a controlled distribution of the working time of individual machines.

REMOTE CONTROL

Currently, unattended operation of devices is becoming more and more important, and with it remote supervision, preview of their operation status and the possibility of remote control in a safe and controlled way. The MS – Connect 2 system together with the MS series controllers enable communication and remote control of both a single as well as multiple compressors using a PC. Constant control of the compressed air production process with the possibility of recording operation parameters, events and errors allows to optimize this process and can significantly affect the safety of work and reduce the costs of compressed air production.

The MS-4CMPXv2 master controller is a very versatile system for managing up to four compressors. It works with all controllers regardless of the brand , which have the option of remote management via start/stop lines, error/readiness. It is equipped with the Modbus communication protocol, which is used to support the MS-Connect2 visualization and diagnostics system.
